The WoW Hunter’s Strengths and Weaknesses

WoW Hunter Strengths

  • Having a pet that can serve as a personal tank. Can tame a huge variety of pets. Pets can provide a nice distraction or deal high damage of their own.
  • Possibly the best solo class in the game.
  • Traps can turn the tide of a battle in PvP.
  • Tracking allows you to get a scope of enemies in the area.
  • Works great with the leatherworking skill.
  • A strong PvP class due to high damage and range.
  • Ability to slow enemy movement speed.
  • Feign Death ability.

WoW Hunter Weaknesses

  • Can not wear mail until level 40.
  • Very few melee abilities.
  • Can not use a shield.
  • Pets can draw monsters to your group if not handled correctly.
  • Not sought after by groups.
  • Need ammo and food for the pet constantly.
  • Not naturally adept at close quarter combat.
  • Cannot take much damage.
